Jori Reijonen Interviewed for Artful iPhone Photography Podcast

As many of you may have noticed, I have become fascinated with photographing flowers and other plants in the past couple of years. What some of you might not know - all of my posted photos have been taken on an iPhone. Last night, I had so much fun being interviewed by the host of the Artful iPhone Community Podcast, Greg McMillan. The episode is already available at https://artfulipc.com/episode-5-jori-reijonen. So, give it a listen, and then come back here to talk about flowers, nature, and your experiences with photography!

Giving Thanks Through 'Picture Hunts'

Giving Thanks Through

As I take my walks and take pictures of the beauty of nature, I see God in its creation. I enjoy seeing the intricacy in the details and symmetry of His created works. The beauty that I so enjoy leaves me in awe. He could have created flowers to be functional and plain, but instead, He has created such variety, intricacy, color, and detail.

My walks and ‘picture hunts’ become a form of prayer as I attempt to capture some small part of that beauty in my pictures. I give thanks as I walk and take photos for the beauty and variety of His creation and for the joy He has given me in discovering and capturing tiny views of nature through photography.
