Artist's Description
This photo shows an African daisy blossom and leaves against a stone wall background. This plant is a type of Osteospermum and is also known as a daisybush, cape daisy, blue-eyed daisy, and South African daisy. This photo was taken in San Diego, CA in March. Artistic edits were applied in Brushstroke.
About Jori Reijonen
I live in Southwest Michigan with my husband and three children, ages 11, 19, and 20. I enjoy taking photographs of flowers and other plants as well as landscapes during long walks around my neighborhood, on nature trails, or when I'm fortunate to be on vacation somewhere beautiful and interesting. Then, I have just as much fun during the editing phase of creating photographic art. When I'm not working as a psychologist, other pastimes include spending time with my family, writing, reading, and drawing. I am also an active member and volunteer in my church.
